Experimenting with Color

My mood is really like the weather, constantly changing. Since the first rains have arrived...I am feeling really cheerful and happy...So I decided to cheer up my wardrobe as well and fill it with colors. So I came up with this idea to color block my outfit with Red and Pink :)

This is what I wore,

I paired bright red pants with a fuchsia top and red pumps, and to add some quirk  I added some polka dots :).

This outfit is definitely an instant mood elevator... even better than chocolate :).
So my ladies, If you're feeling a little low, stop waiting for your guy to cheer you up and give this a try, I am sure it'll make you really happy and make a lot of heads turn ;)

Do leave your precious comments and let me know if you like this.
Happy Rains :) !!!

DIY : Cute Over sized Clutch!

Follow my blog with Bloglovin
I have been thinking about making some D.I.Y.clutches for a long time now and finally got a great idea, which is as simple as making a paper envelope.
So I made this cute and trendy over sized clutch.

Things I used to make this :

1. Hard Sheet (its's a canvas like sheet which gives the required strength and stiffness to your envelope clutch)
2. Print (get any print of your choice on a glossy sheet for the outer cover)
3. Buttons (for closing the clutch)
4. Accessories (I have used a rose bow and some glitter for adding text, you can also use a string for hanging, keychains etc.)
5. Scissors
6. Tape
7. Glue

All you have to do is make a simple envelope like this

Now use the hard sheet for support and stiffness, and cover it with your print to make this envelope.

Add buttons on top and bottom of the flap portion, to close it.

Now add some accessories....

and you are done!!

DIY : Paint your shoes gold !

Hi People....
Here is something you will love...... I was just goofing around on pintrest and got some great ideas for shoes makeover, so I decided to get all sparkly and blingy and make some party shoes for myself.
All I did was take a pair of ordinary sneakers/ tennis shoes and painted it gold.

This is what I made.

How I made it :

1. Things that you will need : White shoes, Gold spray paint, Newspaper (to spread on floor), tape and scissors.

2. Clean the shoes, remove the laces and stuff the inner part with newspaper and add some tape on corners to protect it from the paint.

3. Now take the spray bottle and use it all over the shoes, do multiple coats for a fine finish. I used Asmaco premium grade gold spray paint.

4. Let it dry overnight. Once dry, you can put the laces back on. To brighten it up, I added silver laces to it.

And , you are ready to paaaarrrrtttyyyyy like a rockstar \m/ . They look really cool and are really in right now.

Check this out

So.. tell me ..do  you like em ???

A Casual But Not So Casual Summer Look ...

Hello people,

Today I have decide to do a really fun and casual outfit, which is perfect for the summers..... Honestly speaking... I am really not a fan of the Indian summers... but the only thing that makes me wait for it all the year is the cool summer fashion trends :p.

Thinking of Summer, the first thing that comes to my mind is WHITE WHITE WHITE....... So I took a white linen loose shirt and paired it up with a ripped denim... that i find really chic and cool. To add some color and fun I  accessorized my outfit with this bright green sling bag.

This is what I am Wearing.

So... how did you like this outfit ????..... please share your ideas and opinions... I love to hear from my readers.

High Low Skirt........ Get the look!!!!

One of my favorite trends right now is the high-low skirt. High-low skirts (also called asymmetrical or waterfall skirts) have an asymmetric hem shorter in front and longer in the back which creates a carefree vibe and adds a stylish touch to it. All in all I find them really cute and have decided to give it a try myself.

I paired my black skirt with a plain orange tank top and gave it a casual look.
You can also pair them with a halter neck top for a night out or even a shirt for a slightly formal day look.

The thing I love about these is they are really easy to make. You can even cut off an old maxi skirt or use some fabric to make a new one. You can find a D.I.Y tutorial here.

From runway to red carpets and streets, these skirts are all over the place, here are some ideas how you can style yourself.

So Gurrlssss... go ahead and give it a try and do not forget to share your experience and pictures, I would love to hear from you.

Its Pink & Its Pretty...... What I wore for a Saturday out!

I am so excited right now......writing my first ever blog post. As you probably would have guessed by the name of my blog, I am a big time daydreamer and so a large part of my life has been spent dreaming about the things i want to do & some of them have even turned true, and this blog post is just one of those things.

Lately I have fallen in love with floral prints, with the vintage feel and as soon as I found this peach floral blouse, I decided that it will be a part of my first outfit post.

I paired the blouse with these grey pants that I bought a while ago, I am not sure what they are called, maybe a hybrid between harem pants and chinos. The best part about these is the big belt that I have fashioned as a side bow. Even though the pants are very comfy, I am not a fan of the side buttons (which look good) but poke me all the time.

For accessories, I chose a rose ring which is super cute, a neck chain which has this kitty + mermaid thing hanging from it and a charms bracelet, all of which have been bought online.

Just added some funk with neon pink nail color, shoes with polka dots and a suede bow and Voila !!! I am ready for a movie with friends.

Do tell me what you think about the outfit ????

PS : More stuff coming soon... keep coming back :)
